Over £3000!

I haven't posted for a while because I've been so busy fundraising, but I've now raised a total of £3,050!!

This money has come from several different events. We held a zumba session which bought in over £70, and I took and sold more photographs at a dinner and dance evening. A huge quiz night was put on and the monies raised was split between the church building fund and my own fundraising for Project Trust - my half of the money was over £350! As well as this, I held a Valentines day coffee morning and had about 60 people come and go, eating all the cakes I made the day before! I raised £160 from that coffee morning which was a great success! Thank you to everyone who donated! I have been selling the days of the year to people, and when I'm in Malawi I will write to those people around the time of their special day and let them know that I'm thinking of them and what I was doing on that day. It's a great way to share my year with everybody, and I've raised over £500 this way!

I have had two positive replies from my letters to charities - one with a donation of £100, and one for £125!

I can't believe I'm about 60% of the way to reaching my target of £5,100. Thank you everybody for all your generosity!!! xx

I've reached £1000!!!

I made £1000 which I sent off to Coll to be put into my Project Trust account!! I am so happy!!

The last few £'s came from photographing Sovereign Polyphony in one of their concerts and people giving some really generous donations (plus the money I received from Christmas!!)

....Just £4,100 to go!!

I have a few things planned: A Zumba class will be held at Christ Church Hall, that's on the 31st January! I have a quiz planned which will be on the 4th Febuary. I am also planning a barn dance and a music evening.. dates to be organised!

Hopefully I'll have £1500 by Febuary 28th - that will mean I'm still on target!!
